What kind of work do you do?
A wide range — web development, custom software, mobile apps, e-commerce (Shopify), branding and creative, SEO and growth marketing, API integrations, workflow automation, and strategic consulting. I work as a full-service digital partner, not just a developer.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope. A brand identity or simple website might start around $3,000. Custom software, integrations, or e-commerce builds typically fall between $5,000 and $25,000+. I provide a clear, fixed quote before any work starts — no surprises.
How long does a project take?
A branding project or landing page can be done in 1–2 weeks. A Shopify store or API integration is typically 3–6 weeks. Full web applications or multi-platform builds run 8–12 weeks. I give you a timeline estimate before we start.
What if I'm not sure what I need?
That's completely normal — most clients start there. I offer a free discovery call where we talk through your business, your goals, and what's not working. I'll recommend an approach and give you a clear next step, even if that means not hiring me.
How do you use AI in your work?
I use tools like Claude and Cursor to accelerate research, development, and iteration. It means projects move faster and cost less without sacrificing quality. I'm transparent about it because it's a genuine advantage for my clients.
Can you help with branding, not just development?
Absolutely. I do brand identity, logo design, brand guidelines, marketing collateral, pitch decks, and creative direction. Many clients come to me for the full picture — brand + website + ongoing digital presence.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes. Most clients keep me on retainer for updates, new features, SEO, content, and technical guidance. I maintain what I build and stay involved as long as you need me.
What's the difference between hiring you vs. an agency?
You work directly with me — no account managers, no handoffs, no layers. You get senior-level experience, faster communication, and lower overhead. I handle the full scope or bring in specialists when needed, but I stay your single point of contact.
What technologies do you use?
My primary stack is Laravel (PHP) for web applications, Flutter (Dart) for mobile apps, and MySQL for databases. I also work with WordPress, Shopify, Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, and various API platforms. I pick the right tool for the job, not the trendiest one.
How do we communicate during a project?
However works best for you — Slack, email, video calls, or a combination. I provide regular updates and check-ins so you always know where things stand. Most clients hear from me multiple times per week during active builds.
Do you work with clients outside of Texas?
Yes. Most of my clients are remote. I work across time zones and have delivered projects for businesses across the US. Location has never been a barrier.
What's your payment structure?
For fixed-price projects, I typically split payments into milestones — a deposit to start, a mid-project payment, and a final payment on delivery. For retainer work, it's a flat monthly fee. I accept ACH, wire transfer, and major credit cards.
